Amber the Amazing is going London

Please help send Amber to London to perform at the New Years Day parade! She earned a spot on the UCA All American Team and we are so excited! Cheer has been a welcome addition to her high school years and this opportunity, in her senior year, will be a wonderful blessing! Amber will get to visit places in London on this week long adventure that she could only dream about. She is a cheer captain with AHS, a team player and a role model. We think she deserves this opportunity and appreciate your donation!.

Here we are, approaching a BIG summer with the Dignity Health Physician mentoring Internship, Dance Nationals in Florida, Cheer Camp in Santa Cruz and Senior Year - including CAPTAIN of the cheer term, Leadership and advanced placement courses, no kick-back summer or senior year for this kid. Then college applications and tuition, books, supplies and housing applications and anticipation.
As you know....I was blessed with an exceptional daughter, Amber Christine, who will graduate her HS Jr. year carrying a 4.23 GPA. who just lettered in academic excellence as illustrated by the photo. Accademically she is above average and Always has been - A straight A student Amazing Amber, never less, she has done nothing but work hard and hard work. She is planning to apply to several CA universities, each application costing.... and plans to go into the medical field. BUT before all of this there will be Senior Photos, Prom, Yearbook, Grad Night, Ceremonies, Cap and Gown and all of the Football games and fun of HS Senior year.
So back to college since "the medical field" is a broad catagory, she applied to and was accepted... so she will be doing a full-time, VOLUNTEER internship with Dignity Health this summer beginning June 19 - through August 15, a working summer for her with NO pay. That means Mom gets the extra gas to SLO, AG or Santa Maria....lunch money...lab coat etc...
As you probably know, Amber has been a competitive dancer for many many years winning lots of schloarships and nominated for even more. Dance is a costly sport that I have been supporting.......solely, with the help of the Studio she goes to, thankfully.
So on top of this already busy summer, she is going to Dance Nationals in Forida, to which she won a schloarship...schloarship NOT including flight, lodging, costume fees, food and spending money....It is getting overwhelming.
I do not want to sound like I am complaining about any of this because I couldn't be more thrilled and proud of her and I know we will "figure it out" fianancially...like we always have but as a single Mom, working more than one job...still...and now with the ease and availabiltiy of this "Go Fund Me" program - I am for the first time....humbly... reaching out to our family and friends...to help fund us if you can. The smallest donation will be greatly appreciated, used appropriatly and in Amber's case, I must add, so very much deserved.
