Funding a Masters at Al Akhawayn Morocco

Donation protected
After a year studying abroad in Morocco as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar (District 7770, Est. S.C), I am inspired to do revolutionary research on the Peace Corps' mission here. I have the drive and direction, but need your help to make it a reality.

Purpose:

Al Akhawayn University has offered me an opportunity to conduct this groundbreaking research for my thesis; thereby, finishing my Masters in International Studies & Diplomacy program with a concentration in North African Relations.

With your help and support, I will take on new learning opportunities and continue the work I began with Rotary with renewed optimism and childish enthusiasm.

Background:

I am a Lowcountry native and College of Charleston alumni. My education background is in political science, public administration, and the French language, which inspired me to pursue a career in international government or nonprofit administration.

I am incredibly blessed by the support from my fabulous friends and family back home. Although I miss them dearly, their shameless encouragement inspires me to finish the academic mission I have started in Morocco.

I am also grateful for my former co-workers and mentors from the Gaillard Performance Hall Foundation, the College of Charleston, and the Department of Homeland Security who have instilled a sense of service, humility, and humor which continues to inspire me to pursue a public service.

My hobbies include drawing, a talent I get from my father, John Quinn of Quinn Signs & Artworks. I also derive a holistic sense of health from my mother, a neuromuscular massage therapist. I have two hilarious and clever brothers, Ryan and Cameron, who keep me entertained and on my toes.

The School:

Al Akhawayn University is an American-style English Language university situated in Ifrane, Morocco. It is the nation's top school, and hosts professors from Harvard, Oxford, the UN Development Programme, and more. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences has seen countless Georgetown, Princeton, West Point, Rhodes, Marshall, and Rotary scholars pass through its programs.
