Amazon-oween Pro Bono 5K Run/Walk
Please join us for a Halloween-themed 5K run/walk fundraiser for some of our pro bono partner organizations. You don’t have to participate to donate (we have an ambitious goal of legal department-wide donation), but participation in the event is highly encouraged! Costumes are optional, but also highly encouraged! Tech t-shirts will be provided to participants. We will collect funds in one general Pro Bono Week fund, with proceeds to be divided five ways to the Amazon pro bono partner organizations of choice as follows:
1. Overall female winner
2. Overall male winner
3. Best costume
4. Highest percentage participation in the run/walk event by department (with departmental partner selection to be determined by poll). For those of you not participating in Seattle or as part of another organized fun run, please upload a photo/screenshot of your phone or watch indicating that you ran or walked at least 3.1 miles/5 kilometers any time during Pro Bono Week for participation credit.
5. Highest percentage participation in fundraising by department (with departmental partner selection to be determined by poll). Suggested donation of at least $25, but please feel free to donate more as you see fit!

Funds are being raised by the Amazon Pro Bono Week team, part of Amazon Legal. We are raising funds for Amazon's Pro Bono partners-- organizations that our legal department works with to provide free legal services. Funds will be given directly to the pro bono partners chosen by the winners, as described above.
