Amazing people need help with car

Last month Marilyn was involved in a 2 vehicle crash (she was not at fault) and she was the only person in her Vehicle. As soon as I got there, she appeared to be in shock and the first thing she asked me was, "what about Traelan, what am I going to do about him?". See even though Marilyn was injured in the crash, all she cared and thought about was her 14 year old grandson Traelan, who she has raised since he was a baby. His mother passed away when he was a baby. Marilyn's car was totaled and while insurance is helping with that, she will need a new vehicle to get her and Traelan around. They often have to make doctor trips to Houston and Austin for Traelan, because he was diagnosed with brain cancer at a young age and now sufferers from several daily seizures. Marilyn also has medical issues of her own, but she always puts Traelan first and never quits caring for him. She is on a fixed income and does receive some monetary assistance from a wonderful non-profit organization named Adam's Angels, who assists families that have children with cancer, but it is limited, due to the amount of people that Adams's Angels of Brenham Texas serves. She has also recently had to quit her job, because of Traelan's conditions. She has to be ready to pick up Traelan at a moments notice from school, if he gets sick, which does occur often. Right now she's having to get rides from friends and family members. The money raised will go towards a down payment for a vehicle for her. I'm telling you I've known both Traelan and Marilyn for several years and they both have hearts of gold and are genuinely awesome people. Traelan has a smile that never leaves his face.
