Amazing daughter and friend needs your help!
Hello! My very close friend Cassandra Boyne needs your help! For a few years now she has been taking care of both of her parents. Her dad was diagnosed with early dementia over a year ago and has gotten much worse since then and her mom has a condition that requires her to get infusions for her Eaton-Lamberts syndrome every 3 weeks. They both should be in an assisted living place where they can get the care they need but unfortunately nobody seems to be able to give Cassandra the answers she needs. Due to all of this she has missed many days of work. But she has been so amazing dropping everything to care for her parents.
The biggest reason for this page is because of what happened recently. Her mom got admitted to ICU after getting a an infusion and not recovering how she normally does following it. She became very weak and was truly unable to get out of bed. And at the same time that was going on her dad began vomiting multiple times and also needed to brought to the hospital. At this stage he doesn’t really remember that his wife is his wife and nor does he know where he lives. He actually thought Cassandra was his wife. On top of all that he becomes very irritable. So keeping him in the hospital has been a struggle. And while all this is going on Casey has been trying to fill out paperwork to get power of attorney and all this other stuff to get her dad in an assisted living place. It’s really piling up and she’s on the verge of a breakdown. She’s missed so much work and now this could cause her to fall behind in bills.
She is truly the most compassionate person I know. I’d be proud to call her my sister. And she’s so humble she didn’t even wanna ask for help like this. She has vented to me many times and I just feel so powerless. Casey doesn’t deserve all this stress. So please find it in your hearts to donate and help Casey at least have some financial security while she gets things figured out for her parents. This would be a huge load off her shoulders.
