Thank you for taking the time to click my Go Fund Me page to learn more about why I am shaving my head to support the dedicated care teams at Ideal Carehomes.
My name is Val Smith and I work as a trainer to the care assistants working at Ideal Carehomes across the North West. I have been involved in the care industry for over 30 years and believe it is one of the most rewarding jobs a person can do. I love being able to meet new care assistants and teaching them everything they need to know to deliver the highest standards of care to residents.
On the 27th of April, I will be shaving my head with the help of my daughter in the hopes of raising money to give back to the care teams I work with each day to say a very special thank you for all the hard work they are doing to support our residents during this uncertain time.
It is extremely important to me to give back to my teams and let them know they are appreciated and that they are doing an excellent job, therefore I am appealing to all the friends and families of our staff and residents to donate anything you can to help me achieve my target and give the Ideal Carehomes #healthcareheros a special reward for their efforts.
