Amaya & Liyana Foundation

Salaam, First and foremost, I would like to be very transparent and let everyone know that I am completely new to this. I have never set out to do anything like this before, however I am now Alhamdulillah at a place in my life where I would like to make a positive difference to those who need it most. I have been very blessed throughout my life. I have always had a roof over my head, food in my stomach and been fortunate enough to have access to an education. Unfortunately this is not the same situation for many people around the world. In recent years, I have been blessed with the arrival of meeting Amaya & Liyana. Seeing them grow really put into perspective how fortunate we all are in this part of the world. I have spent a lot of time in Pakistan, Attock specifically, and I witnessed the stark difference in the lives of my nieces and girls there. My nieces and cousins and friends kids have first hand access to an education whereas for a large population of young girls in Pakistan, this is not a choice that they have. Education is not seen as a priority in Pakistan, especially for females. This is something that significantly upsets me as a good education can be the gateway to numerous opportunities. It can be the breaking point for a cycle of poverty that they have been subject to. Inshallah with your help and support I intend to initially provide money for school fees, uniform, and learning resources ie stationary, books etc. It would be my dream to help make education accessible for as many young girls as possible to help break the cycle of poverty Insh’Allah. These are the reasons why I Inshallah have set out to raise as much money and Insha’ Allah this will be an on-going project!
