Amani Kamata

My name is Kayobe Likezo and we recently lost the father of my children. Unfortunately, Amani Kamata was killed by gun violence on July 10th, 2022 in Rock Island, Illinois. Amani is originally from Burundi and came to the United States as a refugee in 2009. He was a resident of Rock Island ever since. Tragically, he leaves behind four beautiful children. Rest in peace, Amani.

We are looking for help to cover the funeral and burial costs. The funeral will take place at Wheelan Pressley in Rock Island on an undetermined date. We appreciate any help you can give!
