On Saturday, December 16, Amanda was in a car accident. She was life-flighted to Bryan West in Lincoln and has been in the ICU since.
Amanda has a spinal cord injury at the T9 level and is paralyzed from the waist down.
She will be moving to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital for her rehab therapy. There she will learn how to live her new normal life and care for herself and her family. Madonna is a wonderful facility that offers holistic care for Amanda and her family.
The funds will be used to help with medical expenses, make their home wheelchair accessible, and pay for gas and meals as the family travels back and forth to visit Amanda.
