Amanda Holt's Fight Against Cancer!

Hi all, my name is Haley. Welcome to Amanda's Gofund me page. As many of you know, Amanda has recently been diagnosed with stage IV cancer. It all started in January 2015. She was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She had a double mastectomy in Augst 2015. She lived a normal life until recently. She started getting sick on Nov. 18, 2017 with what she thought was sinuses. On December 19th, she went to the ER and that's when they found tumors. Since then, she has been diagnosed with a secondary breast cancer that has metastasized to her lungs, brain, and lymph nodes in her neck and arm. She will have radiation for the brain lesions, and a lung biopsy to correctly know how to start treatments for as hormone type of cancer. She will be traveling to MD Anderson in Houston for treatments as this is now considered stage IV cancer. She says she will continue chemo until her body just can't take it anymore. As many of you know, she is married to the love her life, Michael, and they have 3 precious kids. Priscilla "aka" Piper- 3 years old, Josie- 5 years old, and Jonas- 9 years old. I can only imagine how devastated her family is. This will be another life changing event, but they all continue to have faith in our God. This will definitely put a strain on their family. Michael will be having to take off work a lot to get Amanda back and forth to Dr appointments, make sure the kids are taken care of, and to do anything else that may need to be done. I am one of the first to know that Dr bills, traveling expenses, and medicine adds up very fast. Your support, love, thoughts and prayers will truly be appreciated through this journey. I made this in order to raise money for Amanda's battle in hope to make it a little less difficult for her and Michael. The donations will go towards medical bills, copays, and loss of time at work.
