This isn't an easy thing to do but I have to do what's best for my family. Most of you know me and my story but some of you don't.
I have a motility disease in my intestines also known as gasteoparesis. I have had multiple surgeries with more coming up. This has been ongoing over the last 5-6 years but the worst started around June 2015. this last year and a half have been tough. This has been a LONG hard battle and an very emotional one as well. I have had multiple hospital stays, surgeries, scopes, more surgeries, feeding tubes, and now they are placing another feeding tube here in Scottsbluff where the kids and I live. If the feeding tube isn't successful (it wasn't last year) I have no other option then to be admitted to treatment Infusion research center in Omaha. I could be there for weeks possibly months!! I lost my job in October 2016 due to all my medical stuff. I worked for Departments of Health Human services 12.5 years! They held my position as long as they could. I loved what I did. Not being able to work is hard for me. This has caused major depression and anxiety. I have applied for disability, been denied twice and now waiting for a court hearing for another appeal. I am in a VERY tough and tight financial crisis. The only income I do have right now is child support. I am so thankful my church has helped my family on multiple occasions as well as my mom and step dad. I have asked local companies for help as well but are very limited. As hard as this is I am reaching out for financial help as I am about to lose my car due to the income situation. I've sold as much stuff as I can but it's not enough. If I could work trust me I would be! I feel like I'm failing as a parent and the financial situation makes it worse.
The kids and I would be so appreciative of any amount that could be contributed until I can get disability approved or my health to be better so I can return to work. Please keep my family in your prayers as this isn't only hard on me and very hard on my children it is hard on my family as well.
