Amanda & Jason; A Kid for Christmas

Donation protected
Amanda and Jason Allis grew up in the same small town of Cooper City, Florida. They attended the same high school, crossed paths, fell in love and decided they wanted to marry one another. On a beautiful day in November, 11/07/2009, Amanda and Jason tied the knot in Auburndale, Florida. Once Amanda and Jason were married they chose to take a few years to enjoy their marriage and then decided they wanted to start trying for a baby on March 31, 2013. Since then, they have encountered trials and tribulations in regards to infertility. Amanda and Jason both attended numerous doctor’s appointments in order to check their ability to have children and nothing obvious was found. Amanda then began with multiple medications in order to assist her chances to conceive a child, however, that was unsuccessful. Also, Amanda underwent a procedure in order to clear any blockages within her tubes and they began regaining hope in order to conceive children naturally. Unfortunately, these medications and procedures did not lead to pregnancy and time kept slipping by. Amanda’s continued treatment plan involved giving blood multiple times as well as trigger shots in order to increase her chances. In 2017, Amanda and Jason underwent multiple trials of the IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) procedure and again regained hope that this was their chance and pregnancy would be the end result, however, after three unsuccessful trials they didn’t have the strength to face rejection again. At that time, June 2017, Amanda and Jason decided it was time for a break from all treatment in order regain strength. Since then, they have enjoyed family trips, traveling and enjoying their new home in Fort Myers, FL. Just recently, their hope was regained when a radio station (B 103.9) announced a contest in order to win a free trial of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) through Dr. Alford at IVFMD in Naples, FL. As creative as Amanda is, she came up with a slogan of “It Takes a Village” and started to build hers and Jason’s support system that would be willingly to stand behind them during this exciting journey. People from all walks of life, near and far joined in to support both Amanda and Jason and their decision to take their infertility treatment to the next step. Unfortunately, this blessing was granted to another family and Amanda and Jason continue to search for possibilities. This GoFundMe has been started in order to give them the opportunity of IVF which we all know they deserve.
