Steve and I wanted to update all of you.   
As many of you know from following this story, I have had several complications following my kidney transplant on August 1st last year.  I received a Nephrostomy tube in September of last year and I have had one since.  This tube was placed to prevent the transplanted ureter from closing up.  The main problem with this tube is that part of it is outside of my body.  This tube has been the cause of one infection after another.  Finally, after a year there is a light at the end of this Nephrostomy tube tunnel.  The surgery that was scheduled for August was canceled. After several tentative dates one has finally been set again. October 5th.  We are hoping that the doctors that have been brought together will be able to discover a solution.
