As some may know, Amanda's life was changed on October 3rd when she was in an accident and broke her pelvis. Today she had her 4th surgery and still has a long road of recovery ahead.
Her surgeon has backed off her physical therapy and has asked her to remain none weight-bearing for at least another 4 weeks before her physical therapy begins and will last awhile.
At the beginning we really felt as if we could manage through her recovery without asking for assistance, but now we are finding out that she will now go unpaid for an unknown period of time from work. As you can imagine this has added a tremendous amount of stress to her and Oscar.
The last thing I want her to worry about is finances, so anything helps at this point to help ensure that all her bills are taken care of throughout the remainder of her recovery.
We are continuously asked how people can help and this would be amazing. Let's show her what love and support she has around her.
