A lady with a serious fight with cancer

My dear friend Stephanie Dobbie has been fighting cancer for the past four years. She has endured chemotherapy and multiple surgeries that have included breast reduction. As part of this struggle, she had to have a double Mastectomy performed two weeks ago. This is so sad ... but she is coping with the situation with a bright heart.

Stephanie was a very active international model with the Ford agency during her twenties.  She retired from professional modelling and has, for the past ten years, been modelling in the Calgary community for both fashion and art photography

Our mutual friend Kat and I decided we should attempt to raise about $3500.00 for breast prosthesis and incidental medical expenses - a sum that Stephanie and family can ill afford to pay. The prosthetic breasts will allow her to feel normal and perform some of the modelling that she has a passion for.  The prosthesis will allow allow her to continue before she can be scheduled for reconstructive breast surgery in a years time when her body is sufficiently healed.

Stephanie has a zest for life ... and she will be in front of the camera out of sheer enjoyment in spite of the past years of pain and surgery. I hope you can appreciate her current condition in life.
