Riley's Medical Fund

My grandniece, Riley was born on Nov. 17th, 2017, in Halifax NS.  On Dec. 12th she was having breathing issues so her parents took her to the IWK, this is when they found she had 3 major things wrong with her heart.  Early the next morning Riley & her dad (Zack Thomson) were airlifted to the Toronto Children’s Hospital for Sick Kids.  Only one parent could go so Riley’s mom (my niece Alycia Pottie) who is visually impaired & Riley’s Grandmother (my sister Tammy Pottie) had to fly out several hours later.  Riley had the life-saving surgery on December 18th and the operations went well but there will be a long recovery and they will need to stay in Toronto until well after Christmas.  Riley’s dad is a self-employed massage therapist and her mom is a university student currently on maternity leave.  They are on a waiting list to go to the Ronald McDonald house but it is full so they are paying for hotels, food, cabs and airfare.  Bills are adding up quickly with no income coming in.  I know money is tight this time of year but if you can please help.  Thank you, Lorrie Anne Foley (Pottie)
