Dear friend,
I'm writing to you because you, specifically, have been important to me and my family over the years. I have an amazing opportunity to make a life-long dream come true. I have been invited to go to Mozambique, Africa on August 1st to work with over 300 HIV orphans.
As you know, my sister, Katie, passed away in January. Her last words to me were "Just do something." THIS is that something.
This is a very last minute opportunity. I knew about this trip months ago, but it was cancelled due to the leader's illness. She is now better and the trip is suddenly back on. Unfortunately, I only have 2 weeks to raise $3000 in time to get my visa, etc., so I am asking for your help. ANY donation amount toward this effort would be so appreciated and never forgotten.
