Alyssa Simons, age 15, was taken from her Mom, siblings, family and everyone all to soon. Alyssa, a bright light of sunshine, was loved by everyone she touched.

However, in an unfortunate turn of events, Alyssa developed Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C). MIS-C is a rare and serious condition associated with Covid-19 in which different body parts become inflamed including the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes or gastrointestinal organs. Alyssa fought hard to beat MIS-C; however, on June 28, 2021, her body could no longer continue to fight. She became an Angel and flew away.

We believe that one day soon science will have more answers on how to cure MIS-C and children will not suffer or pass away from it like our sweet little angel Alyssa.
