As we all know life is a journey which can through us curve balls we could never imagine happening. Think about a day you've had when it was so emotionally draining you just needed a break and the encouragement and support of good friend to help you smile. Alyssa has many of those days as she works with the homeless many times she goes to work only to find out her client has been murdered, died of a drug overdose or made bad choices that have gotten them into some very bad circumstances for someone like Alyssa who loves respects and gives of herself constantly this position that she loves so much is also very draining.
One way that she is able to relax is to ride her "mini" dirt bike one street over to visit with her friend. On Wednesday August 15 2018 as she got to the house a terrible accident occurred the throttle stuck Alyssa lost control and ended up putting the dirt bike and her body though the wood fence (the fence won needless to say). Something she has done a million times without incident on this night changed her life very quickly just imagine how this could happen to anyone of us at any time! We all have things we do that could suddenly change our lives on a daily basis.
Imagine suddenly HALF of your body is broken you are in the hospital unable to work for several months the reality is you will probably lose you job your income is gone what will you do? Often times it is humbling embarrassing and stressful to admit you will need help but in reality to not be financially devastated by a crazy life event you need help this is where Alyssa currently finds herself
Alyssa is a beautiful LOVING SOUL who gives of herself on a regular basis to those in great need now she finds herself in need and I would appreciate all of you to think "there but for the grace of God go I" as we never know when something unexpected could hit our lives.
Currently Alyssa finds herself on a VERY LONG journey of health and recovery ahead. Alyssa broke the right upper part of her arm shattered the elbow, fractured her femur and broke her shin from the knee down on that same leg. The elbow will require complete rebuilding as it is shattered beyond repair and leg get pins in her knee and will require a cast.
They have informed us that Alyssa will require 24 hour care and not be able to walk for no less than 4 months this will be a long expensive journey. Please spread the word to assist this loving caring couple who always put others first. Lets show them there is goodness in the world and that God is Good all the time!
