Alyssa Anne Gould

Our family has suffered the unimaginable loss of our sweet Alyssa Anne Gould, 22, on April 5, 2023. Alyssa was on vacation in Tennessee with her father, Chad, and younger sister, Alaina. As part of their vacation, the girls wanted to horseback ride. During the ride, Alyssa began to feel symptoms of her allergies. She has struggled with an extreme peanut allergy throughout her life. It is unclear what caused Alyssa to go into anaphylactic shock. There were two nurses in this group who immediately administered aid. Alyssa did not survive. Alyssa was one of the kindest, most gentle, genuinely loving spirits. She brought joy and laughter to every room she entered with her beautiful smile, sense of calm, compassion and loving concern for every situation. Following an autopsy, our family must bring Alyssa home from Tennessee, to be laid to rest. Due to the extraordinary circumstances, our family is asking for donations to help bring her home and to assist with burial expenses. Alyssa was an accomplished cheerleader at her alma mater, Chalmette High School. She went on to study Business Management at GCCC, while working full time in construction sales, where she was honored as the top salesperson in her region. Her hope was to enter into medical sales to advocate for patient's health care. To know Alyssa was to love Alyssa. She was one of those most special people who left an impression with everyone she met. Her authentic loving kindness was felt by all who knew her.
