Always loved, Hunter Darren Avery

On the 11th of September my brother Bradley and his wife Ashlee welcomed 2 beautiful, healthy,  absolutely perfect twins into the world , Hunter and Harlow. When I went to visit I expected to see the usual sleep deprived parents that you normally see of parents with a newborn let alone 2!! Instead I saw 2 very happy and content babies who only wanted to be near each other and fitted into the family perfectly;  siblings who couldn't wipe the smile off their faces and were already the protectors; and 2 very proud parents whose hearts were full and family was complete. They were absolutely smashing it and I shouldn't have expected anything less.  They were both born to be parents and always wanted a big family.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, 2nd of November,  in an absolute sick twist of fate, little Hunter (just 7 weeks old) grew his angel wings while sleeping as god decided to take him back home.

As you can only imagine,  they are absolutely broken, as we all are!  It's so difficult knowing the right thing to say or how to help. I never in a million years thought I'd be the one to ask for money but if I could help relieve the financial pressure from them then that's one less thing for them to worry about.

My brother is a fifo worker and only just returned to work from parental leave.  While on his parental leave they used all of his leave entitlements and they spent all of their savings. With 5 kids to provide for now, he was forced to go back to work earlier then he wanted due to being a one income family and absolutely no centrelink entitlements.

I would love to raise enough money to help with funeral costs and to allow Brad to stay home as long as possible to be with his wife and family to grieve the lost of their little boy.  If you can help in any way,  no matter how small,  it would be greatly appreciated and I could never thank you enough.

RIP beautiful Hunter. Aunty Carlee loves you so very much and I can't wait to see you again one day xx

They say there is a reason,
They say that time will heal,
But neither time nor reason,
Will change the way we all feel.

For no-one knows the heartache,
That lies behind our smiles,
No-one knows how many times,
We have broken down and cried.

Hunter we want to tell you something,
So there won't be any doubt,
You're so wonderful to think of,
But so hard to be without.

In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
No-one else will ever fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you
The day god took you home.
