Thomas's Cancer Fund

Donation protected
Thomas is a fun, loving, father of 2 sons and 1 daughter, and a former Marine, having served in Desert Storm. It is suspected he may have developed cancer due to the toxins he was exposed to while serving his country.  Thomas began developing symptoms that he took to the Veterans Medical Center.  He made repeated visits for 2 1/2yrs with these symptoms without being given any testing or even a physical exam.  It was finally discovered that he had stage 3 colorectal cancer.  In the beginning of 2014 he went through 6 weeks of chemo and radiation.  In May he went through his first surgery to have the cancerous tumor and a portion of his bowel removed, 13inches all together. This surgery was to remove the cancer and give him a temporary ileostomy.  He is currently going through 9 more treatments of chemotherapy, totaling 12 all together.  When he is finished, he will have to undergo yet another surgery to reverse his temporary ileostomy.  At this time, he will be out of work again for another few months, this happening right before the holidays.

(This is Thomas's daughter Samantha pictured above.  His son's Jadin and Dillin are pictured on the cover picture with Thomas.)

Thomas is use to being a healthy, fit, young man with energy to be the manager of a Family Dollar, often times working 70-80hr work weeks.  He had to quit that job as it is impossible to perform his manager duties or work that many hours. He can now only work about a 20 hour work week, having to take on a job making much less than he is use to.  The chemotherapy treatments and remaining healing from his surgery has come at a high price physically and mentally.  While he has a great Marine mentality to fight through this obsticle in is life, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming.  The money he is making now is hardly paying for gas and food. The bills are backing up and it looks like his son will have to quit attending Tae Kwon Do.

There is no way in the world that my humble Thomas would never ask for help himself, however I can see his

stress on a daily basis because we live together and I would do anything in the world to help him.  People are most use to taking care of themselves and only feel worthy when doing so.  It takes a humble approach to this horrible disease to ask for and accept help when it's needed the most.  Please don't get overwhelmed with having to donate or what that amount should/could be.  Anything at all will help and can be donated annonymously (only known to us, not the public).  I am his girlfriend Tina and would greatly appreciate your help in taking some stress off of his shoulders and helping me keep that handsome smile on his face.

Thank you in advance for any and all help. Prayers are always welcome.
