Althea's Medical expenses

Althea was diagnosed with cervical cancer about five years ago. The cancer has returned. She under went major surgery last week at the Noth Carolina Chapel Hill Cancer Center and she is not out of the woods yet. I would like to relieve some of the financial strees she is undergoing right now. Althea is a person with a heart of gold. She will give a person the shirt off of her back. She would also give her last penny to help someone in need. Althea is a classmate of mine and we are getting ready to celebrate our 50th class reunion in July,  which she has worked on for the last year before illness struck her again. She constantly worries about co-pays and doctor bills. Her pride will not allow her to ask for help. She did agree last week that she would let me sign her up for the go-fund me page.   I knew then that she was in need of some financial assistance.  She is a retired hair dresser so the only income she has is her Social Security.   Please help to relieve some of her stress so that she can concentrate on getting better.
