Alternate Giving Day

On Linfield’s annual giving day (May 11-12), we strongly urge the community to hold President Davis and Chairman Baca accountable by redirecting donations to this newly-established Legal Defense Fund for Linfield Faculty, Staff, and Student Survivors. The 501(c)3 status of this fund is pending, so you can expect your gifts to be tax-deductible, just as they would be if you were donating to Linfield directly. And, by donating to this fund, you directly support the legal fees of students and faculty who are risking their enrollment and employment to fight for needed change, while sending a message to Linfield’s administration that this culture of silence, intimidation, and retaliation will not be tolerated.

To those who still wish to give to Linfield, consider earmarking your gift to specific funds or scholarships benefitting the most vulnerable programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, so that students in these underfunded programs can still thrive.
