Your Generosity Can Save A Life

We need your help.  This year, the Altadena Mountain Rescue Team (AMRT) has responded to over 100 callouts, making us one of the busiest SAR teams in Los Angeles County.  For comparison, AMRT had 88 operations in 2015 and 69 in 2014.  These numbers include responses to cliff rescues, fallen hikers, searches for lost individuals - even dogs rescues.  The increase in callouts combined with our weekly and monthly field training is wearing our gear at an accelerated pace.

Your donations will help us replace used equipment, contribute to the training/outfitting of new SAR members, and supporting our mission of mountain safety education through public outreach.

The AMRT is a 501©(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization that relies on public support.  On call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year since 1951!
