David Angelo Tringali
September 3, 1984 – January 16, 2019

David Tringali passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno, California following a four-year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

David was born to Domenico and Diane (Ferguson) Tringali on September 3, 1984, in Fresno, California. He married Amber Michelle Stefanson on November 27, 2005. They raised three children: Zoe Michelle Tringali, age 10; Kalista Grace Tringali, age 8; and David Angelo Tringali II, age 5.

David graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He worked for the Law Offices of Bradford & Barthel for 10 years, first as a receptionist, file clerk, legal secretary, and then became the office manager of the San Jose office.

David’s loves in life were his family, serving others, music, and sports. He is survived by his wife, 3 children, parents, and 4 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 1880 Gettysburg Ave, Clovis, CA 93611. A viewing will be held prior from 10:00 to 10:30 am.

We, as the extended family, would like to thank everyone for your continued support. Amber and the kids need all the love and support we can give at this time. In lieu of flowers, it would be great to help their amazingly strong family out through here. Thanks to all who have been here and we want to keep showing our love throughout this incredibly trying time.

David Tringali was diagnosed with Amotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) aka Lou Gherig Disease, on September 29, 2015 shortly after his 31st birthday. ALS is fatal and on average after diagnosis there is a 2-5 year life expectancy. ALS is a serious illness that needs more awareness. He has been married to his wife Amber for 10 years and has 3 small children; Zoe age 7, Kalista age 5, and David Junior age 2 whom all love their father dearly. (And why we are calling him ALS daddy) Previously he worked as an Office Manager at the law firm, Bradford and Barthel for nearly 10 years. David has since retired due to being terminally ill and has lost a significant portion of his income. His wife Amber continues to work and provide for basic bills and their children's activities. However they do not have the resources to provide for extra medical costs such as making their home handicap accessible, specialized motorized wheelchairs with lifts above the bed and on the car, and there is more to come. The average ALS patient spends 300,000 a year in medical costs. Any donation is a blessing and prayers are always appreciated.
