ALNM - Help Fund our 2020 Concerts

Donation protected
"A LITTLE NEW MUSIC  is the best hour of new and unheard musical theatre material in LA!"  - LA Weekly

And, guess what?  Producing this concert series is an all-volunteer effort

- What's that you say?  The producers don't get anything for their efforts?

- Nope, just the satisfaction from an accomplishment well-done...and the love we get from our audiences, performers and of course, the writers!

We've been producing this unique concert series in Los Angeles since 2013...and these past 21 concerts would never have been possible without numerous volunteer commitments.

Like so many arts programs out there, ticket revenues do not begin to cover the budget for all aspects of producing these concerts.  Will you help us get there?

We produce 3 concerts per year, and typically premiere 12 to 14 songs at each concert.  Each concert costs approximately $3,250 to produce.   Multiplied by 3, that's just under $10,000!

We were blessed to have received a small grant from the ASCAP Foundation to help support some of our 2019 activities.  The ASCAP Foundation dollars were ear-marked to help provide stipends to the writers who present their songs, and the performers who sing their songs.  With that assistance we have been able to reimburse many of these hard-working writers and performers for their appearances on stage.  And, that feels really great!

But, we want to keep this ball rolling and be able to reimburse even more of our on-stage and off-stage talent.  Right now, even our YouTube videos are getting created out of the goodness of the video editor's heart and that needs to change.  Umpteen hours go into getting this content ready for the on-line world to see.

Your support means the world to us!  Remember, we're volunteering our time to do this, but we think that our audiences, both locally in Los Angeles, and online (YouTube, Facebook) deserve to see and hear these fantastic songs!  Not everybody can attend our concerts in person but they still want to stay in the know.

We look for the best, most diverse and interesting songs that feel fresh and intriguing...and that represent our constantly changing world.  That's how we keep our audiences connected to the cutting edge of musical theater.  We believe that we are all better off when music tells our stories.  And, that our audiences love getting a taste of the future of Broadway musicals!

We'd LOVE to be able to include YOUR NAME on our DONOR LIST, and give you Special Recognition for your generous contributions.
