Evan and I are looking to raise money for Allyson's lip & tongue-tie release surgery. The dental office we have booked her appointment with is booking 5 weeks out currently and takes our insurance but we are not sure if our insurance will cover it, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't and we won't know until the office attempts to run our insurance. If not, the 500$ fee needs to be paid upfront. We also have the option to go with a different office who can get her in by the end of this week or next, but they do not accept insurance so it is 500$ upfront, out of pocket.
Allyson does have an appointment booked for March 9th with the first office, but if we are going to end up paying for it anyway I would rather her be seen as soon as possible but as with most things in life, money is the only thing in our way.
These ties make nursing extremely difficult for her, she can't eat for very long, so we have to nurse more often then usual. It also causes her to suck in a lot of air, which makes her gassy and vomit. Not being able to fill her belly adequately, also means she's constantly hungry and it often disrupts her sleep. She constantly screams and cries at the breast, before finally giving up.
She's not eating like she's suppose to, she's not sleeping like she's suppose to, and she's just generally uncomfortable. So I'm looking to get this done for her asap and don't want to make her go through this for another month if she doesn't have to.
The extra 50$ is to compensate for GoFundMe's fees.
