<div>Ni Sa Bula everyone My name is Allua Degei, i was born onto Dharug Land on the 11th October 1998.

<div>Growing up in Blackett out in the greater west of sydney i was shown and taught what it meant to work hard for every little thing my family had. as some of you who are quite close to me know, being the oldest of a big family has meant i’ve looked after myself and my family financially as soon as had been able to earn an income. Dropping out of year 11 to start full time work and still doing my 1s and 2s around this chaotic city, finding community, finding family.

<div>I spent 23years figuring out where and what aligned with me till i finally could acknowledge my transness in 2022 even though my soul had known from the get go. I started on mones that year and now that i’m entering into my 4th year medically transitioning i’d love to really get the ball rolling for my gender affirming surgeries. Because of my history financially, i’ve never really been able to ask for money as i’ve always been the one to support and assist my loved ones. I had been going back and forth with myself on why’d i even start a GoFundMe because that oldest daughter syndrome kicks in and i felt like i had to do this on my own. My dysphoria and the overall mental toll of not feeling at home in my own body has reached a point where i need to put things into action. Thanks to my loving partner and a bunch of my close friends who i now consider my family i’ve decided to start a fundraiser and ask for help.

<div>In November 2025 i travelled to Naarm and had my FFS consultation with the surgeons from Facial Team Barcelona. Along with additional gender affirming surgeries the facial team surgeons will be conducting my FFS surgeries. I’ll end up having to stay in Barcelona for 16days in total for pre op appointments, surgery and recovery before returning to australia.

</div>
<div>I’m fundraising to cover the entire cost of my surgeries, recovery and trip. After meeting the surgeons and going back and forth even now with the team i feel the most confident, safe and comfortable with going ahead with the facial team. I plan on organising my own events, functions and activities to fundraise. Please only donate what you can. I’m very aware of how hard it is to make it by these days and quite literally live pay check to pay check myself.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>i’ve spent so much time stressing and going through the motions and it’s really come to a point where it’s taking a toll on my well-being. i’m asking for help, granted a big help at that but help that would put me into a secure, comfortable and safe place in my own body.

<div>No matter if it’s a donation, share or a msg of support, Vinaka Vakalevu. I deeply appreciate that you’d take time to read this, donate, share or message. I wish all of you a safe, happy and secure year of the fire horse
