Allow Kids to March for Their Lives

UPDATE: By working with the MarchforOurLives, this GoFundMe campaign was matched with the The Ark of St. Sabina from the south side of Chicago. These funds raised will allow for two buses (and food) to bring 100 students to the march on the 24th. If we can raise more, this will allow for a third bus! Let's see what we can do!!

I cannot thank you enough for the support you've given.

I'm outraged and saddened by what happened at Parkland and the terrible trend of school shootings, but inspired by the brave students who are raising their voices and demanding action. 

I went to high school on Long Island with one of the victims at Parkland, Scott Beigel, a geography teacher who died ushering 50 students into his classroom for safety. But my outrage doesn't just come from knowing someone involved, it is because we cannot allow this to become normal.

On Saturday, March 24, many of them will march on Washingon, DC and make our nation's leaders see and hear their demand to be safe at school. 

Please join me in helping them get here. This fund will help cover travel and accommodations so that these children can speak for themselves. 

Organizers will give money directly to school leaders and organizations who are affiliated and coordinating with #Marchforourlives to give to those planning to attend the march.
