She's loving, she's funny, and she's one of the hardest workers we know, but currently stands to lose it all!!
She needs, and I am begging, for donations "now" as she currently struggles with rent and utilities because she can't physically work yet, or for another month.
Jan 7, our lovely friend, Allison, had her foot severely lacerated by a boat motor's blade. In only 3 days, she had two surgeries with another potential coming, 2-3 units of blood, countless injections of pain medication and 4 days of expert physician treatment in the hospital. She has returned several times for progress checks and Pin and Stiches removal.
Our family has known and loved Allison since her 1st day of college. She has been with our family and at family gatherings since. She is young, she is caring and she is giving; but she is also single, no immediate family nearby, she doesn't have insurance, rocks a moped, and works 3 jobs that require her to be on her feet and be her best. It will take time to heal and it will take time to pay the medical and transportation expenses that could drive even the strongest hearts and minds to an abyss.
Friends, family and loved ones: she needs help now, please.
Supporting Allison is not required and it is most certainly not a precursor to receiving her love, but any amount of care, no matter the size, supports building her hope...that all will be ok. Please help re-establish her dreams and keep this fiery young lady moving on all cylinders.
We don't know what medical bills will be, but know they will be enormous. When her goal is reached, the funding will be disabled. This funding stream is created to enable the repayment of medical expenses and provide peripherals that support her recuperation; nothing more.
