With great sadness, the family of Allison Jamie (Rayl) Bailey announces her sudden passing on the morning of Thursday, September 6th. She is survived by her children Hannah Beatrice Bailey, Kathryn Ann Bailey and Carl Trevor Michael Rayl; her parents Michael and Debbi Rayl; and her siblings Ian Leino, Whitney White and Trevor Rayl.
Since childhood, Allison had a deep love of babies and dreamed of being a mother. Growing up, she practiced her mothering skills on her siblings (and anyone who needed it), acting as the nurse and caretaker whenever anyone was sick or sad. She realized her dreams of motherhood early in life and her children were her greatest joy. Her kind heart and tenderness she passed on to her daughter Hannah, who shares her mother's gentle way. Her daugher Kathryn carries on her mother's boisterous and energetic spirit and both daughters share Allison's quick humor and love of laughter. Allison's infant son Trevor was a constant delight for his mother and she loved sharing the daily joys of his development with her family. Her children were always excited to bring the neighborhood kids to their house because they knew that everyone would be welcomed and loved.
Allison was both creative and generous, and enjoyed sharing her gifts with others. As a talented baker, her cakes were the centerpiece of joyous events for families throughout the area. Last year she designed and created her sister’s wedding cake, pouring her heart and soul into the project, even going so far as to pay for the supplies on her waitress salary, as she did for so many in need.
Her kindness, determination and ferocious love brought light to so many, and her laughter, dance moves, generosity, caring spirit, and joy will never be matched.
Funds will be used to support her children.
