Reiki Practice & Recording Studio

This campaign has two aspects to it. 1. Starting my own Reiki Practice. 2. Home Recording Studio.

REIKI: Since I was initiated two and half years ago Reiki  has been the greatest gift while I’ve navigated my own healing journey. Now as a Second Degree practitioner of the Usui Tradition I am feeling called to offer myself to the community so that I may give back what Reiki has gifted me. I am starting my own Reiki practice. It is a big transition that I’ve realized needs and deserves support. In order to give I must also open myself to receive financial backing to help transform my home into an open Reiki practice.

VOICE: "The voice is the muscle of the soul." Alfred Wolfsen once said and I believe it has the power to heal. I have been a singer for over 18 years. I have sung professionally in theatre but am feeling called to share my voice in a more sacred and healing context. By creating my own home recording studio I can begin creating quality recordings of healing songs and soundscapes to support others in their journeys. Starting my own home practice and recording studio means buying new equipment, doing home renovations and investing in some business starters. 

Here is what I'll be spending your money on:

Recording Studio - monitoring headphones, audio interface, mic and cables, sound insulation  and an update for the internal hard drive of our laptop. All this comes out to roughly $1400-$1600.

Home Reiki Refurnishing - paint and paint supplies (for walls), massage table sheets and supplies, electric tea kettle, studio furnishings, decorations. $400-$600

Business Starters - business cards and website fees. $100 - $300 

I am wanting to get my practice fully on its feet by the new year! I am already offering my services to friends while my home is in transition. However, before I begin my official practice I would like my home to be ready to hold sacred healing space.
