On March 9, 2018 my dear friend and coworker, Andrew Coleman, was hit head on by another vehicle. The impact of the collision totaled his car, and left him in bad shape.
The Accident
Andrew sustained 8 herniated disks, one of which is pressing against his spinal cord. He also has an ACL strain and fluid accumulation in his hip and knee. Not only are these injuries extremely painful, they also prevent him from being able to work.
The doctors have projected many months of recovery, involving an intensive physical therapy schedule.
The driver of the other car, the person who caused the accident, was uninsured. Due to a no fault state law, Andrew is put in a lose, lose situation, legally.
What is Needed
With Andrew unable to work, his devout girlfriend, Emily Blummeti, has been juggling being a full-time student and carrying a full time job, to support them both.
The medical bills are piling, carrying along with them more and more financial stress.
I am making this GoFundMe for both Andrew and Emily. These people are such a compassionate, generous, and positive couple.
