Allen Dennis Nationals Crosscountry

Allen Dennis who is 14 years old from Springfield, has just competed at Qld School Sports Crosscountry coming 2nd for U15year olds and has made the 14/15 year old Qld School Sports Team to go and compete at Nationals in Hobart, Tasmania.  This is his second year competing at this level, he missed out last year for the school sports team as he came 7th last year, but made at the last minute the Qld Heat Team which was in Canberra and came 7th in his age at the National Competition.  He also qualified for Nationals Track  at the beginning of the year which was in Sydney.  Both these trips we were fortunate enough to be able to Drive to, which cut costs  but this trip is alot more expensive and the costs are already staring to climb.  First year for Qld School Sports so the fees and full set of uniforms alone are nearly $500, then we have flights $460each and accommodation for Allen and mum and dad who would love to see him run.  Unfortunately all students at this age get no funding from anywhere and the parents have to come up with the money to take them to these events and also pay for his coaching.  We are off to Nationals on the 11th August which is only a few weeks away and makes other fundraising very difficult.  I would love it if you could donate even the smallest amount to help us with the costs involved getting him to Hobart.  Allen, Todd and I  would be very thankful.  Thank you in advance.
