All Lost in Thomas Fire Shane Nash

Shane Nash poured blood, sweat, and tears (and seven years of his life and health) into building his house on North Fork Springs Road. He was told after he purchased the land that the lot was not buildable. He fought through county permits, including having to hire a helicopter to get his water tank installed.

And now, after enjoying his dream home in the town that he loves, he has battled again.

When the Thomas Fire came, and he was asked to evacuate, he courageously stayed to defend his house to the very end. Unfortunately, he did not win this time.

There is nothing left.

Shane’s fire insurance only covers the loan amount on the property, so the house itself is not covered at all. He is literally rebuilding everything from scratch. Unfortunately, with health issues he is facing, he is unsure of his ability to rebuild, as well as being without the funds to even begin.
We, Shane’s family, are setting up this account to help Shane in the process of rebuilding his home and his dream.
