Some of you would know that our incredible mother Blak has been battling cancer for a few years. She has successfully overcome it twice through radio and light chemo, however 2020 decided to throw another curve ball at her.
During 8 months spent first in lockdown then restricted due to COVID-19, mum was not able to attend her regular check-ups. This allowed the initial cancer to develop and cause severe damage to essential organs.
Blak is now facing tumour spreads across various organs, which we have been told is incurable. She has been put forward for two chemo treatments and the opportunity to join an imunotherapy trial to give her a better chance. We have also consulted oncology specialists who have recommended integrative medicine as the best course of action to build her immunity for the tough treatments to come.
We want to provide her with the best possible treatment, and the best path towards not only a longer life expectancy but a better quality of life. Natural medicine has previously helped substantially in building her immunity and fighting the effects of chemo her body does not tolerate.
Unfortunately, natural medicine is expensive, and so are the consults we need to organise with naturopaths, oncologists, dentists, osteopaths, etc. It's also been recommended she eat healthier, organic products only, and strengthen her mind and body.
We are doing everything we can, but we need your help. We need your support to provide Blak with the best tools to fight. Every little bit counts. She is a warrior and this will not be her last hurdle.
