Santa Fe's long time jazz icon Bryan Lewis needs financial support.
If you've enjoyed a Friday evening at El Mesón listening to worldclass jazz by The Three Faces of Jazz, you'll know Bryan. For the past two decades, this talented drummer and colorful personality has enriched our lives with the gift of jazz.
Unfortunately, Bryan's recent diagnosis of cancer and subsequent chemotherapy treatments have taken a physical and financial toll. An earlier tinnitus diagnosis had already caused Bryan to curtail his drumming performances, and this additional setback has left him without funds to cover medical co-payments.
As most of us are aware, local musicians like Bryan rarely have full medical insurance coverage. He chose his career for his love of music, and we need to step up and show our gratitude for his gift to us.
We will keep do our best to keep you informed of Bryan's progress.
