Working closely with the Medicaid community, I witness firsthand how many women and girls experience pregnancy and postpartum without education, resources, or emotional support.

<div>With over two decades of experience in the healthcare field — from community health to OBGYN, pediatrics, primary care, and now perinatal support — access has always been the foundation of my work. I have dedicated my career to serving families who face barriers to care, especially those navigating the Medicaid system or falling through its gaps. This fund continues that mission by supporting mothers both within Medicaid and those who do not qualify but still experience financial, cultural, or emotional hardship during pregnancy and postpartum.

Dediquei minha carreira a servir famílias que enfrentam barreiras no cuidado, especialmente aquelas que navegam o sistema do Medicaid ou que não se qualificam para apoio. Este fundo é uma continuação direta dessa missão, apoiando mães que têm Medicaid e também aquelas que não se qualificam, mas que ainda assim passam por dificuldades financeiras, culturais ou emocionais durante a gestação e o pós-parto.
