Investing in Jannah- Help to complete Masjid works

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

Anyone that has recently passed the masjid will see that the extension project looks 'almost complete'. Alhumdulilah, by the grace of Allah swt, the design & build team has navigated the difficult disruptive period in the construction trade to deliver the project.

New facilities now already in operation: Sisters prayer hall, new wudu facilities, new second floor with community hall and Maktab.

The final work items remaining for completion are now dependent on favourable weather for completion of external rendering, and more critically settlement of due payments.

During the course of the project payments have been made in stages, and the outstanding payments listed below total £230,000 required to finish this project:

-       Lighting & Electricals £10,000

-       Wudu facilities & Plumbing £30,000

-       Windows and doors £30,000

- HVAC and Air conditioning £30,000

- Prelims and interior finishes £100,000

-       Exterior finishes £30,000

It was reported that Rasullulah (saw) said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” {Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari 439, Ṣaḥiḥ Muslim 533}

Every time a forehead touches the ground, every time a mother, or a sister comes to the masjid, every time a child learns a single letter... Insha’Allah you will get an equivalent reward added to your account!

The vision for Al Jalal Masjid echoes the Prophetic model of the masjid

being the centre of the community. Men, women and children were taken care of by the masjid to develop the best of people. The Prophet’s Masjid was a place of equality (regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic status), a concept that we have been striving to implement over the years in Al Jalal.
