A Little Help From My Friends

Any one who knows me will recognize that things must be serious and even a little desperate for me to set up a Go Fund Me; I am terrible at asking for help. Giving help, that comes naturally for me; I have always seen it as a strength, I am hoping that asking for help will show me a new kind of strength.
It was two years ago that they found the first tumor on my left ovary. Surgery, treatment, working at recovery, that was my focus and being Mom to my son. Now in a follow up there is new growth. CT Scans are not my friend, at least not yet. I am a fighter and I believe that one day I will beat the scan and the disease.
For two years I have managed to keep life going, and now I am out of the resources we all need to live from day to day: rent, utilities, food, gas for transportation, the things insurance does not cover. I am the sole support for my son. For the first time in this fight I am afraid, not of the fight but rather of failing at the only thing that really matters, keeping a home for the two of us.
If you are seeing this maybe it's because I have come into your life in a positive way: taught you CPR, or tutored you, or helped you see something in a new way, made you laugh, or held you while you cried. Perhaps we worked together, laughed together, studied together, told each other stories of our lives, or I made you some delicious food or baked good. I have tried to be a force for good and small gifts and blessings. 
So that is what I need now small gifts and blessings.... lots of them.
