Alistairs Angels

My 10 month old niece Alistair Gurley was admitted to Brenners Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC on Thursday October 12th, 2017 with complete kidney failure and some sort of infection that they are still searching for more answer. She was immediately put on dialysis for her kidneys and during her first couple days in treatment her liver has since then gone into shock and has stopped working as well. We are still in search of answers of what caused this to happen to her. She has been on continuous dialysis and treatment since she arrived it's just an extremely slow process to take fluids off her little body while treating her. She has to stay in a sedated state and constant pain medicines to be still due to her age and size and the amount of ports in her body for treatments. Her healing and numbers seem to be going in the right direction but we were also advised today we have at least another week in PICU on the dialysis and could be several more weeks here at Brenners. Which during this time my sister Hunter Gurley will not only not be able to work but not be home with her 9 year old son Aidan while Alistair is healing. I am setting up this fundraiser to help her during this time of need to be with her daughter while she heals. As we do not know how long this process will take and when or even if she will be able to return to work any time soon.
