Alistair's Cancer Battle Raising Awarness

Alistair was 29 when he was diagnosed with Testicular cancer. After very invasive chemotherapy and removal of the tumour his body reacted, and tumours grew at a fast pace around different parts of his body which resulted in multiple operations in very quick succession to remove it all as were near his vital organs. Alistair is now 32 and we have just found out it has returned with 2 tumours either side of the neck which are crushing on to his windpipe. Due to covid he now has to isolate for 14 days so that can have these removed on 3rd August as if they do not remove quickly they will ultimately block the airways and suffocate him, they have also found what they believe is a secondary cancer tumour on his lung. Four top specialists are coming together to perform this operation at the Royal Marsden hospital in London but have warned Alistair that due to working very close to his vocal chords he may not be able to speak again and also if they need to remove a majority of the lung he will need to be on oxygen for the rest of his life.Alistair is a very loving, hands on fantastic father to his 3 young children along with his wife Gemma who is his rock and amazing the dedication she shows to her family and at this difficult time which as you can imagine they are all devastated.  Alistair's mum Lorraine  has also been amazing and is a tower of strength and support to them all and they also all live in the same home where she is there for them 24/7 without a second thought. We are trying to raise funds to support Alistair and his family through this very traumatic time and for them to be able to survive difficult times as Alistair is the main provider for the family  and even after this operation he will have to self-isolate for a further 14 weeks due to the risk of coronavirus so any help we can give them for some stability and financial support would be so gratefully received and as he recovers for him to be able to enjoy and spend time with his 3 children and wife without worrying about everyday living expenses and how he is going to afford to be off work for so long.
