Hi, my name is Glenn and I’m representing the wonderful community of Limehouse, where many had the pleasure of knowing Alison.
Dogs bring people together - this was how my husband Bern and our dog Eli got to meet Alison, when she was walking her dog Harry. We also later met her son Billy.
Many of you will have your own stories of how you met Alison. (Please feel free to add this as a comment in your donation, should you got the option to.)
Alison died after a long, courageous battle with cancer on 12th February 2024.
As we come up to the first anniversary of her passing, it seems only right that we remember her for who she was - a lady of colour, brightness, warmth and humour. Ropemakers Fields is not the same since Alison died, but we hope in that planting a tree in her honour, this would be a beautiful way of remembering the life and soul of Alison.
This appeal has the blessing of her son Billy, as well as her four guardians.
Please give what you can. And thank you.
We hope we can plant a tree in Ropemakers Fields on the 12th February 2025.
I will keep you updated.
Best wishes,
Glenn, Bernie and Eli x
