UPDATE: As some have heard, I recently found out the cancer has progressed. I wasn’t expecting this for at least a few years. It seems to be fairly aggressive. I have to have surgery soon, right during the holidays. I also have to have radiation to my spine (again), my sacrum, and possibly my liver.

This all just seems like a nightmare. Unfortunately my situation is a recurring need and I appreciate every share and donation for my little family. There will be a lot more trips to the cancer center than usual, a six week recovery time for my surgery, and downtime with the high dose radiation. I was already worried about Christmas for the kids, but now the worry is so much more.

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer (stage 4, terminal) last August after having already faced stage 3 two years prior. I was still finishing up treatment and surgeries from the first diagnosis when hit with this. I have two children, 8 and 10. Dealing with not one, but two cancer diagnoses and being out of work has been very financially straining. I pay a primary and secondary insurance to cover (most) of my medical expenses which are astronomical. Look up what just one round of chemo costs, or my $12k shot to control the hormone based cancer each month. The hospital is my second home. It’s hard enough to deal with what this diagnosis means for our little family, but on top of that worrying about financials. On top of regular expenses, there are things that insurance doesn’t cover. If you can help, it is very much appreciated. If you can not, I completely understand. Please share! I was never one to ask for help, but life happens and admitting when you need help in a situation like this is essential I’ve realized. I love you all and thank you for the continued support! ♥️
