Support for Brett and Alise

Brett and Alise Nelson are a young couple living in Prince George, BC. Brett works in the forestry industry, and Alise works in children's services at the Prince George Public Library.
In October 2017, Brett completed 9 months of treatment, including radiation and chemotherapy, for brain cancer after undergoing his second neurosurgery in December of 2016.
In December, Alise began to notice small bruises on her legs which increased in severity over a Christmas holiday. She scheduled an appointment with her doctor upon returning home to Prince George, and completed a blood test the same afternoon. Within an hour, she received a phone call from her doctor's office stating that the results of the lab work were troubling, and she needed to go to the emergency room. More blood was taken at the hospital, and the emergency room doctors reported that the initial findings looked to be leukemia. Alise was flown to Vancouver by air ambulance, where she was admitted to Vancouver General Hospital. A bone marrow biopsy on January 11 confirmed Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Alise began chemotherapy on January 12, 2018.
Brett and Alise are both taking extended leaves off work as they are required to be in the vicinity of VGH for Alise's treatment. Currently, Alise is expected to be in the hospital until mid-February. Following discharge, she will receive outpatient chemotherapy for the next several months. As this will require near daily trips to the BC Cancer Agency and/or VGH, Brett and Alise need to find accommodation close to the hospital.
This GoFundMe is to help with accommodation, travel, and additional expenses such as meals, until Brett and Alise are able to return home.
