My beautiful daughter Alicia, a vibrant, happy and energetic young woman, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer on May 29, 2025. After CT scans and MRI were completed, we were given the devastating news that this cancer has already metastasized to her lungs, liver and bones.

As if the diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer is not frightening enough, Alicia had started a new job on June 2, 2025, and was forced to resign already to begin treatments. This leaves her in the unfortunate predicament of needing chemotherapy, radiation and surgery without medical insurance coverage. The only option she has at this time is to continue her insurance under her prior employer's plan through COBRA. Her COBRA payment alone is $1200 a month, before any co-pays or co-insurance are due.

Alicia is a loving, happy and beloved older sister and daughter, and mom to two fur babies, Jax and Scout. She is a strong and positive woman (like her mom!) and is going to fight this battle with everything she has. We are asking for your support to help get her through this extremely difficult time.
