My friend, my sister Alicia French unexpectedly passed away on Dec 24th 2020. Alicia was fighting a long battle with Lupus & Sceleroderma. She had been in rehabilitation for her sickness and was just looking forward to getting home soon. So you can see we were understandably surprised, when our Lord called her home. Alicia caught an ammonia three days later, we were called to say our last goodbyes.
Leaving behind her two sons Daniel Valdes Jr 18, and Maddox Lee Valdes 12. Leaving her next of kin to prepare her memorial and last wishes. She also leaves behind her Father Robert French, her brother John Mazzone, Sister Fallon, & my brother Daniel.
Funny within that week of her passing, Alicia and I spoke all the time, but that particular week, I recall her asking me "what would I want if I passed". She also said, she wanted to get cremated. We spoke all the time especially about our lives, tough situations, my mom and her food, so I never thought it to be out of the ordinary. What are the chances that someone tells you their dying wish within the same week of her passing. My heart is just broken.
Daniel would like a place to lay her to rest, burying her ashes. Where he and his brother Maddox both, may visit her grave site.
I know it's definitely never a good time for anyone especially at this time where we are all struggling with our new normal. We ask to help fulfill Alicia's wishes and lay her to rest, we are raising money to cover the costs of the expenses for Alicia's cremation and burial.
Daniel has picked out a plot at Holy Cross and will have a small service at the grave site. I want to thank everyone for all the kind words and support shown to my nephew's. It means more to me than words can say.
