Alice Adopt a Family

This letter was sent in to the Alice Morning Show with Bill & Deanna, by a listener who wants to brighten a friend’s Holiday. I have a special gal I want to tell you about. She’s a 43 year old single mom to two kids. One in college and one is 8. This gal is finishing her senior year of high college to become a teacher. So it started this summer in July. She was hospitalized and was told she needed sinus surgery. They did that and thought the fixed the problem. Nope. It’s her brain. She went in two days later for a massive brain surgery. She spent a month at renown with a week in the ICU. When she was discharged she was determined to walk without a walker and tried every day. She was slowly improving and looking forward to going to back to work as a substitute for the school district. Then...four days before thanksgiving she was admitted to the hospital in kidney failure. Now being a sub for the school district she works for very low pay and no one benefit. Her medical bills are pouring in and over $200,000. She has been going to work despite her brain surgery and her kidney failure. She loves those kids soo much and is willing to risk being exposed with a low immunity to make sure THEY get what they need and deserve. It’s time she gets what she needs and deserves. She just keeps getting bad news after bad news and I know her and her kids deserve the world.
