Alice The Wonder Bus - challenge
Once upon a time many years ago a little girl in Uzbekistan and a little boy in England both dreamed of traveling round our beautiful planet Earth. The universe brought these two soulmates together when in their fifties and the long harboured dream was reignited. They quit their jobs and bought an old yellow school bus which had started its life in Liverpool. With a great deal of help from family and friends they converted it into their tiny house on wheels. Baptised her Alice The Wonder Bus and left their comfort zone in February 2020 to start the adventure of a lifetime.
We need your help to fuel the dream!
This is our story, our eventual goal is to take Alice to India via many different countries. We still have approximately 20000kms to go and being hindered by travel restrictions and with Alice’s top speed 80km an hour so she’s slow! But it’s the journey that counts! The first year we gained an unexpected canine companion from the Netherlands, a big puppy with a beautiful old soul, we named her Gaia. Our original plan was to raise extra money busking and selling handmade crafts and paintings also doing other odd jobs but due to the world lockdowns this has made it difficult although we have managed to volunteer and work along the way on some amazing projects involving Permaculture, Sustainability, Art, Music, clearing beaches and nature along the way from plastic and other rubbish. These are not paid jobs these are helping people who cannot afford to pay and we have almost exhausted our savings. We can sustain ourselves but it is fuel money we need, if you are able help with any donation no matter how small we would be very grateful.
